The top five search terms this year were Nelson Mandela, Paul Walker, iPhone 5s, Cory Monteith, and Harlem Shake, and you can explore the top 100 searches on Google’s interactive site. In addition to the annual Zeitgeist video, Google has also created an interactive 3D global map that allows users to explore trends on individual cities around the world.
