Giant Yellow Duck Floats Down the River Thames For an Ad Campaign

Duck

The Jackpotjoy FUNdation sent a 50 foot yellow duck (aka the “JackpotJoy Duck”) down the River Thames in London as a promotional stunt. The entertainment and games site wanted to announce their new Facebook page in a big way and decided on gaining attention with a large inflated duckie. The project was three months in the making and required over 800 hours of labor to pull off. The duck was so large that the city’s Tower Bridge needed to be lifted for it to pass through it. You can learn more about the marketing campaign and see the duck moving its way down the river in Jackpotjoy’s video.
