Inspired by a recipe by her friend Jenny of Picky Palate, Bakerella has made her own Giant Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies and posted the delicious results on her site. She wraps scoops of homemade chocolate chip cookie dough around Double Stuf Oreo cookies and then bakes them up. The recipe can be found in The Picky Palate Cookbook. These cookies remind me a little bit of the Cherpumple, the ‘layered pies baked inside of a cake’ creation by Charles Phoenix.
