Geometrikaraoke, 3D Geometric Shapes Pop Out From Urban Streets In Rhythm With the Soundtrack

Artist Oscar López Rocha aka lorochrom has created “Geometrikaraoke“, a fascinating 3D animation in which geometric shapes pop out of urban footage taken previously in perfect time to the ambient soundtrack of “Frenetic Enumeration” by BLÆRG. López Rocha explained that he followed the principles of karaoke in this project, using shapes instead of words to communicate the message.

I followed the “karaoke” principle in this project, lyrics appearing while music is playing, instead of these, I’ve changed them for geometrical bodies appearing to the rhythm of a song to create visual 3D compositions in real places where I’ve passed by sometime and captured in DSRL video.
