Actors Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry, best known for their roles on the immensely popular 1990s sitcom Friends, starred in the “Microsoft Windows 95 Video Guide”, Microsoft‘s self-proclaimed “world’s first cyber sitcom”.
The training video, produced in 1995, introduces its audience to the features of Windows 95 as co-founder Bill Gates‘ fictitious assistant guides Aniston and Perry through the operating system. The trio endures frequent interruptions by various delivery people and workers who enter Gates’ office, each knowing more Windows 95 tips and tricks than the last. Many jokes are cracked until Aniston and Perry leave the office, more confident in their Windows skills than ever.
