In Robert Kolodny‘s short film “Fly on Out,” a boy is chased through the streets of Brooklyn in a mad dash to free a caged bird. The film was shot on a Phantom high speed camera and is peppered with slow motion shots of everyday life in Brooklyn’s Bedford–Stuyvesant neighborhood. The film’s actors are all non-professionals and many of them were recruited from the local community.
