Five Caterpillar Excavators Play a Giant Game of Jenga With a Massive Tower of Wooden Blocks

Five excavators maneuver around and slide pieces out of a giant tower of wooden blocks in this video from construction equipment manufacturer Caterpillar. A Cat 320E, Cat M316D, Cat 277D, Cat TH514C, and Cat 349E played what amounts to a game of Jenga made large at Caterpillar Testing Facility EDLC127 in Edwards, Illinois. The 27 blocks used each weighed in at 600 pounds each. The company filmed a behind-the-scenes video as well.

“Stack” pits five Cat machines, including Excavators and Telehandlers, against a mountain of massive wood blocks. The object of the game is for heavy equipment operators to remove and then reposition a stack of 27 blocks one at a time, without toppling the structure — using only their Cat® machines and attachments
