“Firecracker” is a colorfully abstract music video by Swedish duo Victoria+Jean that was created by graphic designer Christophe Thockler using 550 stop-motion animated marbles captured in 15,000 still photos.
As the band wanted something punchy and full of energy, I tried to play with marbles, blurs, bokehs, movement and colors to create an original abstract video made with 550 marbles an 15,000 photos.
Thockler was also behind the fiery music video for Victoria+Jean’s song “Why Won’t You.”
