FiftyThree Launches Pencil, A Stylus Shaped Like a Carpenter’s Pencil for the Paper iOS App

Pencil

FiftyThree, creators of the iPad drawing app Paper, have launched Pencil, a Bluetooth low energy stylus shaped like a carpenter’s pencil. The stylus can be flipped upside down and used as an eraser, just like an ordinary pencil. To pair Pencil with the Paper app, users simply touch the stylus to the on-screen pairing button. Once paired, the app can tell the difference between Pencil and the surface of your hand, allowing for more effective palm rejection and a finger blending tool. Pencil is currently available to purchase online in “Walnut” and “Graphite” color options.
