We are currently looking for an East Coast based contributing writer for our Laughing Squid blog (the very same one you are currently reading).
The position is a full-time, offsite, contract-based position. Laughing Squid operates as a distributed company with no centralized office, so the applicant needs to have the ability and discipline to work from home from 9am to 6pm Eastern time, with occasional after hours and weekend posts.
The ideal candidate would be someone who who has extensive experience with blogging using WordPress on topics related to art, culture and technology, as well as being an active member of the online community, who has a personal blog, and uses Twitter as well as other social media.
The pay is based on a negotiated per blog post rate.
