This 1905 film recorded aboard a subway train in New York City shows one of the first routes of the city’s subway just a year after the system opened. The film provides an amazing glimpse of the subway and its remarkably dapper riders from more than a century ago. The film was uploaded by the Travel Film Archive back in 2008.
