DVD Dead Drop, Hidden DVD Burner Will Burn You an Art Exhibition

DVD Dead Drop by Aram Bartholl

DVD Dead Drop by Aram Bartholl is a novel art installation of a DVD burner that is hidden in a wall at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. Anyone who succeeds in finding the installation can insert a blank DVD-R and will be rewarded with a freshly burned DVD containing a digital art exhibition or other curated content (the content will be changed monthly). DVD Dead Drop is an evolution of Bartholl’s USB flash drive dead drops. The DVD Dead Drop installation begins August 16 with “HOT,” curated by Aram Bartholl.
