Distance Dolls, A Pair of Wireless Dolls That Let People Hug Loved Ones From Afar

Distance Dolls are a pair of homemade wireless rag dolls created by Brooklyn maker Ariel Cotton that allow people in long distance relationships to hug their loved ones from afar. When one partner hugs one doll, the second moves its arms for a hug. When the hug is returned, a LED heart in its chest begins to glow red. Cotton is looking to begin manufacturing the dolls, which are presently in the prototype stage.
