Digital Art Collective eBoy Is Making a Hyper-Detailed ‘Pixorama’ Pixel Art Illustration of San Francisco

Digital art collective eBoy (previously) specializes in pixel art ranging from solitary characters to hyper-detailed posters. Some of their most elaborate works are their “pixoramas,” poster-sized illustrations of cities rendered entirely in pixel art. The collective has made pixoramas of Berlin, London, and Tokyo, to name a few, and now they want to make one for San Francisco. As the images typically take over 1,000 hours to assemble, pixel by pixel, the collective is raising funds for the project on Kickstarter.
