Thursday evening hundreds of people came out to Mezzanine on a rainy San Francisco night for digg’s big Million User Celebration. I shot some photos of the event.
Early on in the event, Jay Adelson and Kevin Rose announced that digg was releasing their API and a Flash Development Kit, as well as Digg API Visualization Contest.Of course multiple people Twittered the news, including myself.
Adafruit Industries had a table at the party and were selling their new Digg button electronics kit ($1 of each sale is donated to Electronic Freedom Foundation).
Ghostmarking was on hand as well, out in back with their laser cutting machine, doing laptop and cellphone etchings.
At the party it was great to meet top digg user and fellow photographer Andrew Sorcini, aka Mr. Baby Man, who flew up from Los Angeles just for the event.
