A Kuro Neko No Te (Black Cat Paw) pastry is currently available at Hotel New Hankyu Osaka in Japan for 230 yen — a little over $2 — until March 31st.
A chocolate take on last year’s Neko No Te (Cat Paw) cream sandwich pastry offered at the same bakery within the hotel, Kuro Neko No Te is two cat paw-shaped cakes made from dacquoise with brown rice cream between. The little finishing touches to indicate the pads are made from white chocolate.
