In this video, SoundWorks Collection visits Park Road Post Studios in Wellington, New Zealand to interview the music and sound team behind Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Previously, we wrote about similar interviews with the music and sound teams who worked on The Hobbit, Man of Steel, Gravity, and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Here is a list of the individuals who were interviewed:

Re-recording mixer Michael Hedges, re-recording mixer Chris Boyes, re-recording mixer Michael Semanick, re-recording mixer Gary Summers, composer Howard Shore, and producer & co-screenplay writer Philippa Boyens.
