Coyote Peterson Allows a Praying Mantis to Sock Him in the Nose With Its Spiky Forelegs

As he was retiring for the day while on location in Costa Rica, the adventurous Brave Wilderness host Coyote Peterson noticed a flying mantis on the ceiling of his room. Peterson and his crew caught the evasive mantis and in similar fashion to his encounter with a leaf mantis, he purposely allowed the insect to attack him with its forelegs. Right on the nose.

There are over 2400 species of Mantis in the world and so far in Costa Rica Coyote has already discovered two of them. However this Mantis is a little more feisty than the last one and really knows how to deliver a blackbelt worthy chop to the face!
