Constitute, New Online Tool For Exploring the World’s Constitutions

Constitute is a new website for comparing and searching the constitutions of nearly every nation on earth. A user can search by topic (“freedom of expression”), region, or time-frame. Constitute’s creators at the Comparative Constitutions Project built the site as a tool for people involved in drafting and revising constitutions—as the Official Google Blog points out, every year approximately 5 constitutions are written and 20 to 30 are revised. Constitute was created with a seed grant from Google Ideas.
