Colour the Bridge, Sydney Harbour Bridge Transformed into Interactive Light Installation

During the recent Vivid Sydney festival, the Sydney Harbour Bridge was transformed into a massive interactive light installation that allowed the public to “paint” the bridge with colored light. The installation, entitled “Colour the Bridge,” consisted of 100,800 LEDs lining the bridge’s main span and arch. The public was invited to control the LEDs with a touchscreen interface installed in a nearby park. “Colour the Bridge” was created by Australian production company 32 Hundred Lighting. For more on the project, see this Creators Project video & article.
