Climbers Narrowly Avoid Falling During a 14,000-Foot ‘Leap of Faith’ Across Maroon Bells Traverse

Climber Nick Courtney and his companion Chad Brenner are lucky to be alive after narrowly avoiding a fall while taking a jump at 14,000-foot jump across the “Leap of Faith” at Maroon Bells Traverse in Colorado. Several large rocks slid out from underneath the first man as he made the jump. He landed safely on the other side, but then advised his friend that, “You’re not going to want to go that way.”

Courtney also uploaded a longer video showing several other highlights from their climb.
