ChurroDuo, Edible 3D Interlocking Fried Dough Sculptures Created by the Inventor of the Cronut

Dominique Ansel, chef and owner of Dominique Ansel Bakery with locations around the world and creator of the legendary Cronut, has introduced the newest of his creations – the ChurroDuo, a modern interlocking 3D sculptural interpretation of the traditional Spanish/Portugese pastry. Unfortunately, this unique dessert is currently available only at Dominique Ansel Bakery Japan, but the eponymous chef is thinking about bringing it to his other locations as well.

Introducing our new Churro Duo, our version of the traditional Spanish fried dough pastry. A pair of interlocking 3D churros – one made with white sesame and one with black sesame, made to order and served warm with homemade salted caramel dip on the side. (Unraveled, the churros are more than 1 meter long!) …Currently only our @dabjapan has this new item, but I’m pretty tempted to bring it to NY and London
