Capture Creatures is an upcoming Pokémon inspired solo art show by animator, illustrator and comic artist Becky Dreistadt at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles featuring a “showcase of 151 creatures hand-painted by the artist, accompanied with imaginative stories by her partner Frank Gibson.” The solo show will open on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 7 to 10 PM PDT and run until Sunday, June 23, 2013. The enterprising concept culminates this weekend with an exhibition of the original work, hardcover book release, and a new toy, t-shirt, and prints. The artist will be on hand during the opening event to greet fans and sign the new releases!
