Candy Japan, A Subscription Club For Japanese Packaged Sweets

Finnish born entrepreneur Bemmu Sepponen fell in love with Japan while he was an exchange student for two years. After returning to Finland, he swore he’d go back. Now living in Tokushima, Japan, he has brought his keen outsider’s perspective along. Looking for a steady revenue stream, he realized that foreign packaging and foods are fascinating away from their native land and thus was born the idea of Candy Japan, a Japanese packaged candy subscription service. For one monthly fee, envelopes full of, you guessed it, random Japanese candy will be delivered to your door twice monthly. This month he has a sneak peek video showing one of the subscription sweet offerings.
