Caine’s Arcade, Chapter 2: Take Caine’s Global Cardboard Challenge

In April 2012, 9-year old Caine inspired the world with his elaborate cardboard arcade that he created in his dad’s auto parts shop. Filmmaker Nirvan Mullick told Caine’s heartwarming story in the short film, Caine’s Arcade. Now, Mullick has directed Caine’s Arcade, Chapter 2, the follow-up film to the original. It talks about the impact that Caine has made on both children and adults worldwide and has issued a creative challenge through the non-profit organization that grew out of the film, Imagination Foundation. The organization’s mission is to “find, foster, and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in kids” and as described in Chapter 2, has invited the “world to play” in Caine’s Arcade Global Cardboard Challenge event (full details).

September will be the month to organize and build, then on October 6th (the one-year anniversary of the flashmob that came out to make Caine’s day) friends, family, co-workers and community members can come out to play at local events, celebrating the creativity and imagination of kids around the world.
