Brave Blind Boy Navigates a Street Curb for the First Time

With the supporting words of his mother Jennifer, brave 4-year-old boy Gavin Robert Stevens cautiously navigates a street curb with his white came. In 2009, Gavin was diagnosed at just four months old with Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis, a rare hereditary retina disease that left him blind. Folks have organized “Gavin’s Groupies,” a group that aims to raise money for the Gavin R. Stevens Foundation. The group has posted several inspiring videos of young Gavin on YouTube.
