Bottoms Up Beer Dispenser Fills Cups from the Bottom Up

Advertised as the world’s fastest beer dispenser, the Bottoms Up Draft Beer Dispensing System uses specially designed serving cups that can be filled through their bases. Each serving cup has a hole in the base covered by a magnetic seal. To serve a beer, the operator places the cup on top of a tap, which displaces the seal and fills the cup with beer. As soon as the cup is removed, the magnet seals the hole in the bottom. The system is indeed extremely fast: a team of three servers was able to dispense 56 beers in a minute using a four-cup Bottoms Up dispenser. The Bottoms Up Draft Beer Dispensing System was invented by Josh Springer back in 2008.
