Blogger Translates Westerner’s Chinese Character Tattoos To Reveal Unintended Meanings

In the blog Hanzi Smatter, Chinese American blogger Tian Tang translates Western tattoos that are composed of Chinese characters, revealing their often unintentionally hilarious meanings. Many of the tattoos are written in what Tang calls the “gibberish font,” a false alphabet in which Chinese characters have been incorrectly matched to letters of the Latin alphabet. Oops.
