‘Black & White In Color’, A Captivating Look at the Accidental Hues That Develop In a Colorless World

Filmmaker Julianna Thomas spent well over a year in creating her short film “Black & White In Color“, a captivating look at the darkest color crossed with the color of light and the accidental hues that result from the combination of the two.

This short video is the culmination of a year and a half of experimentation with black and white textures. Please note: in some instances, color is unavoidable — dark purples, greens, and blues separate out of black dye within a few minutes.
