Bitcoin, A Peer to Peer Currency

Bitcoin is a peer to peer digital currency that is independent of banks or governments. The currency was started in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, and can be used to pay for some products and services, or traded for other currencies (one Bitcoin is currently worth about $7.50.)
