“Beyond Years” is a short documentary animated by Freddy Arenas based on a recent “Modern Love” column at The New York Times written by photographer Tim McEown that examines the relationship between McEown and his now-wife Sarah, who is 22 years younger.

Tim and Sarah’s difference was thrown into stark relief when he had a heart attack during their engagement.
