“Ballad of a WiFi Hero” is an animation by Jesse Benjamin, with music by Free Energy, made in collaboration between publications Vulture and McSweeney’s that recreates the January 2012 McSweeney’s article “In Which I Fix My Girlfriend’s Grandparents’ WiFi and Am Hailed As a Conquering Hero” by writer Mike Lacher. The narrator is voiced by actor H. Jon Benjamin, best known as the voice of Bob Belcher on Bob’s Burgers and Sterling Archer on Archer.
