Baitogogo, Tangled Branch Installation at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris

Baitogogo by Henrique Oliviera

“Baitogogo” by Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira is an installation of tangled branches that appear to grow directly out of the architecture of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. The branching structures are made out of tapumes, a Brazilian wood that is used for fences. For more on the installation’s three-month-long construction process, see this making-of video by My Art Agenda. “Baitogogo” is on display until September 9, 2013.
