British photographer Max Ellis has once again captured the amusing antics of his backyard squirrels. On a rainy day, Ellis put out a tiny purple umbrella coated in sunflower seeds and peanut butter to attract the animals and after a while, a single squirrel came out and posed adorably with it. While the scene doesn’t look real, Ellis says on his site that he only uses Photoshop to touch up the photos.
The squirrels in these images live in the big trees behind my garden. They come every day to see whats new and investigate it. Photoshop is only sometimes used minimally to clean up the images, (I’ve used fishing line in some cases) but everything you see here actually happened.
