Awaglass, A Beautifully Meditative Handblown Hour Glass Made Using Bubbles Instead of Sand

In 2011, Japanese designer Norihiko Terayama put a fresh meditative twist on the classic hourglass by replacing the standard sand with foaming bubbles (awa) that travel back and forth between the glass bulbs. The Awaglass comes in two sizes and is currently available for purchase through Spoon & Tamago.
