The Aster Papposus sofa has a star-shaped design with 16 arms forming 360 degrees of seating. The nearly 11-foot-wide sofa has no frame and instead takes its form from 2 identical 8-armed cushions resting one on top of the other. The sofa’s designers, Fernando and Humberto Campana of Italian design firm EDRA, appear to have taken their inspiration (and the sofa’s name) from the common sunstar, Crossaster papposus.
