Artist Tian Haisu uses modified roller skates to paint large-scale landscape paintings in a technique she calls “Landskating.” Haisu’s inline skates are equipped with pots of paint; to paint she must employ her whole body to maintain balance while making marks with her feet. Her latest work, Blood-Lane-Line, is 43 feet tall by 20 feet wide. It was recently put on display at the San Francisco campus of California College of the Arts.
