Artist Mathieu Tremblin has created a series of real-life alternative text placards and affixed them to physical objects in the world. Alternative text is a piece of text assigned to an online image to describe what the image is. Tremblin created the series as part of the F.A.T. GOLD event in San Francisco.

The pieces were created by laser-cutting plastic and using tape to stick the placards to the real-world objects they are describing. Tremblin had help from Stochastic Labs, a group that helps fund artists and creative teams in the San Francisco bay area.
