ArtCar Fest 2007, the West Coast’s largest gathering of art cars, takes place September 28th-30th around the Bay Area. The event kicks off this Thursday with the annual caravan from San Francisco to Berkeley, followed by an ArtCars Under the Stars benefit for Epic Arts & ArtCar Fest Thursday evening at Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California in Berkeley. On Friday the art cars will be visiting schools around the area and on Saturday they will be down at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. The festival finishes up with the art cars joining the legendary “How Berkeley Can You Be?” parade on Sunday. Here’s the full schedule.
