Apple Announces New iTunes Radio Streaming Music Service at WWDC 2013

iTunes Radio

Apple has announced a new music streaming and discovery service called iTunes Radio at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. iTunes Radio is built into the default music app in the newly announced iOS 7, and iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV owners will also have access to the service. Users can listen to featured stations or create their own based on songs similar to Pandora. The app also lets users like or dislike songs, as well as purchase songs directly in iTunes Radio. The service is free with ads, and iTunes Match subscribers get access to an ad-free version. For more coverage of Apple’s new streaming music service, head over to Engadget.
