Animals at the Oregon Zoo Enjoy a Yummy Seasonal Treat of Pumpkin in Their Own Unique Ways

With Halloween just around the corner, the animals at the Oregon Zoo were given a yummy seasonal treat of pumpkin to devour in their own unique ways. Otters picked, giraffes licked, rhinos gored and bears punched the stubborn gourd until it gave way to the sweet meat inside.

It’s that time of year again at the zoo… when the leaves are changing and the pumpkins are getting nervous!

The elephants get their turn on Friday, October 28th with the annual Squishing of the Squash.
