An Interesting Verbal Tour of the United States by Easily Recognizable Regional Accents

In 2011, actress Amy Walker gave a verbal tour of the United States, providing examples of accents from commonly recognized regions such as New York, the American South, the Midwest and California.

Earlier, in 2008 Amy performed 21 different accents from around the world, including the same regional American accents and more.

Here’s a little tour of 21 accents in one take. Love the fun challenge of switching between them fluidly. Props to All of these places and their multi-accented people! Accents: Standard British, Cockney, British RP, Irish, Northern Irish, Scottish, Italian, German, Czech, Russian, French, Australian, New Zealand, Heavy Ocker Australian, Texan, Californian, Northwest, Toronto, Brooklyn, Deep Southern, and Trans-Atlantic.
