An Incredible Super Slow Motion Video of a Pistol Being Fired Recorded at 73,000 Frames Per Second

Mythbusters hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman make an incredible super slow motion video of Hyneman firing a pistol, which they recorded at 73,000 frames per second using a Vision Research Phantom v2010 high-speed camera (the link goes to the its successor the v2011).

Adam Savage is nearly rendered speechless by incredible slomo footage that captures a bullet being fired at 73,000 frames per second. Shot at these speeds, the video reveals a dance of pressure and fire that would otherwise be missed by the unaided eye.
