An Incredible Super Slow-Motion Video of a Ball Cracking Glass Filmed at 10 Million Frames Per Second

In this 2013 video from precision instrument manufacturer Shimadzu, a ball cracks glass while being filmed at 10 million frames per second by Shimadzu’s HyperVision HPV-X high-speed video camera.

The glass is fractured by the impact of a high-speed projectile. The process of crack propagation at high speeds can be clearly observed.
