“Science is about what is. Engineering is about what can be.”
Jorge Cham, an animator and science advocate, animated a speech titled “The Engineering Century” made by former astronaut Neil Armstrong that was given at the National Press Club on February 22nd, 2000. In the speech, Armstrong relates how engineering has informed everything around us, and will continue to do so going forward.
