A recent TED-Ed lesson by Jaap de Roode explains how five different types of parasites affect the behavior of their victims. The lesson looks at the Gordian worm, rabies, Ophiocordyceps, Plasmodium which causes malaria, and Toxoplasma which affects rodents, cats, and possibly even humans.
