An Amusing Animation That Explores the Likelihood of Voter Fraud Taking Place at the Polls

GOOD Magazine and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream have put together a very amusing animation that compares the 1:32,000,000 chance of voter fraud taking place at the polls with more likely things occurring, such as getting injured by soap (1:5,198), hammock (1:349) or toothbrush (1:338), becoming a movie star (1:1,200,000) and even being elected President of the United States (1:11,000,000).

Some use in-person voter fraud as an excuse to legislate strict voter ID laws. But just how likely are you to experience in-person voter fraud? Exploring the odds really puts it in perspective.
