American History, A Student Film by South Park’s Trey Parker (1992)

American History is a paper-cut animation made by South Park co-creator Trey Parker and Chris Graves when they were students at University of Colorado in Boulder. For the film, Junichi Nishimura, Parker’s Japanese roommate, narrated the history of America as he knew it. In June 1993, the piece won a silver medal from the Student Academy Awards. Also take a look at Parker’s live-action short from 1989, Giant Beavers of Southern Sri Lanka.
