All Is Not Lost, Latest OK Go Music Video Is an Interactive Website

“All Is Not Lost” is a new song by OK Go. Naturally, the song is accompanied by an incredibly elaborate music video, but this one has a catch. It is possible to watch the beautifully choreographed performance on YouTube, but it is really meant to be seen on the All Is Not Lost website, where the performance spills across browser windows and the viewer can have the performers spell a message in a rather unique manner. The website is an HTML5 experiment, the result of a collaboration between the band, the Pilobolus dance company, and the creative team of Google Japan. The performance was conceived as a message of hope to Japan, after the country’s catastrophic earthquake and tsunami earlier this year.
