Aerodrome, The World’s First Instructional Airport for Drones Begins Construction in Boulder City, Nevada

Aerodrome Drone in Flight

Aerodrome, a company that provides education and FAA certification for piloting drones, is building the world’s first instructional airport for drone pilots in Boulder City, Nevada. The project hopes to help narrow the talent gap in the unpiloted aircraft field as the industry grows and more jobs are created without qualified people to fill them.

Classes are taught at a nearby facility in Henderson, Nevada, and the full Aerodrome airport in Boulder City is expected to open 2018.
